I Am Back

Hi guys, sorry for having been away for so long , but had a few things going on in my life that kept it that way. 

My baby sister got married to a wonderful man, i hosted my first Juice Plus+ event, i moved house and i made some life changing decisions!

First of all the last time i spoke to you all i was living in North Cork, I am now in Roscrea, Tipperary, my family home. I am a much happier person now that i am near my family! Any one who reads my blogg knows that although i am a bit of a health freak i do like the odd glass of vino, so next week i will be putting up a list of good white wines that are affordable :) I will also be putting up a 14 day fitness regime and healthy food plan that co-insides with juice plus+.

My sisters wedding was amazing, and once i am aloud to put up they will be here, but untill then you will have to wait! My JP event went better than i expected and couldn't have asked for a better turn out and then i moved house!

My new house is tiny compared to what i lived in before, but i am happier, my little girl is now going to creche and i have three mornings to myself, and am not cleaning constantly. i am now a member of the local gym and love  it

Hi all sorry i haven't been keeping up to date with my blogg but for those of you who keep up to date with my facebook account you will know that my parents were visiting me last week, so i was a little preoccupied! I hope you are all well and for those of you taking your Juice Plus caps and/or complete everyday keep at it because the results you will see will be amazing i know i am seeing results i didn't think possible!

Now over the last few weeks i have had many people say to me that Juice Plus is a fad diet or just a money making scheme for the makers of Juice Plus, NSA. This is wrong and shows some ingnorance on their part to the point that they won't listen to the facts of the company. So for those of you reading this thinking " well i don't want to be on shakes for the rest of my life!" or "the weight will pile back on once this is over with", you are wrong and here is why!

• NSA are long standing company with over 40 years running
• Juice Plus is a part of NSA and has been running since 1993 (21years)
• Juice Plus is not a diet program
• The detox program that many people(including myself) do is not run by juice plus , it is in fact a diet program that was put together by distributors of juice plus and nutritionists to give people a healthier lifestyle, and the bonus is that you can lose weight
• Juice Plus in general is there to give you the nutrients you do not get in everyday life
• It is not a quick fix as many people think
• Juice Plus IS a lifestyle change
• You won't be on the shakes for the rest of your life, as it is there to help the weight loss, once you are at your ideal weight the pounds shouldn't pile back on because you are eating the correct whole foods and not processed rubbish!

If Juice Plus was a money making scheme it would not have been around for over the last 20 years! It would not be a growing company and i certainly would not be involved! For me, i wanted my daughter to have a secure upbringing with out having to worry about where the next penny was coming from , and at the same time to give her a good work ethic. So please all you doubters out there just take a look at my website to actually find out the facts, don't make a decision before finding out the true information. If you are listening to joe bloggs down the pub, and he sits in there everyday with nothing better do do than drink, then think to yourself "why am i listening to this guy" go and find the information for yourself and make and informed decision. That is all that anyone asks!

Belly Busting - More Weight Lost!

I Didn't think i had lost anything!!!! - 08/06/2014

Wow i really didn't think i had lost anything this week, and then i took my pics, i can't weight to stand on the scales on Wednesday to see how much i have lost. For those of you that don't know i started my journey three weeks ago wieghing 11st 12 and i have not yet given into the temptation of the scales, so seeing my pictures tonight i will be weighing myself Wednesday morning, really excited! Any how here  are my before and now pictures, as i have said before my before and after pictures will not be going up untill i have completed my journey! Bridge the Gap - 05/06/2014

Hello again to all of you who are following my journey and i apologise for not having been around for a few days. Here is a little quote of mine from my facebook page, to show you just how passionate i am feeling about the Juice Plus+ products.

 Three weeks ago i thought my life would be a constant struggle to pay the rent and bills and to put food on the table! Now i have hope because of inspirational people like Hayley Phillips who introduced me to Juice Plus+, i now have more hope for the future than i have had in a long time! I can now look at booking my wedding finally, and a holiday and even a new house! I know i WILL be successful and i WILL achieve my goals and dreams! Watch out this baby Rhino is on the move!

I truly believe that these products work. To dispel any myths you may or may not have heard i will explain these products to you.

 First there is the juice plus flagship product that are the juice plus+ capsules, these are NOT a diet supplement, they are a nutritional supplement to 'bridge the gap'. What this means is that no matter what you eat during the day sometimes it is just impossible to get your guideline daily amount of fruit and veg! So contained in the three types of capsules (combined) there is the essence of 26 different types of fruit and veg. So you take the capsules everyday and you know that you have your guideline daily amount with no effort and you 'bridge the gap' if you don't get your RDA. The other grate thing about these capsules is that once you start taking them your cravings change, where as once you were craving chocolate now you are craving carrots and kale and this is because of the large amount of  fruit and veggies in the caps, when you take them its like you are binge eating which then causes you to crave that food type more!

The juice plus complete shakes are a meal replacement, to help aid weight loss, they are also used to help gain weight or muscle because they are quite high in protein and would normally be used post workout . Belly Buster - Nearly Gone

The Inches are Coming Off - 01/06/2014

So as many of you know i took some before photos around two weeks ago and wanted to share my progress with you, i have lost 7lbs in two weeks of being on the juice plus plan.  I am over the moon and so proud of myself! I am going to keep pushing myself to be at my goal of a size ten by the time of my sisters hen weekend at the end of July! So here goes , here are the before and now pictures (the after pictures will come once i hit my target goal!).

I can see some difference in my size but my loss in weight is what i am most happy about! I am going to be starting on the shakes in eight days time and really looking forward to it, i am sure i will be seeing more weight loss then.

So yesterday was a busy day, I went to the english market in cork city, i love it there the smell of fresh produce just hits you as you walk in . The hustle and bustle of the place makes it a small mecca for food in the heart of the city. My little girl loved it to walking around and meeting the stall holders, so friendly and they all commented on how good she was. We then went up to Mallow to pick up some bits for the hubby and then off to Killarney to get my new patio furniture and BBQ. The patio set was bought but we were told that the shop was out of  stock for the BBQ we wanted and the only place that had one was Tralee! So off we went! By the time we arrived home yesterday evening it was nearly 8pm, it was certainly a long day but totally worth it!

Pass me the Chocolate!!!!!

Thursday night - 29/05/2014

Sorry i didn't manage to get to write anything down yesterday i was busy looking after my little girl and doing a bit of shopping to keep me going till the weekend!

So apology over i had a great day on the detox yesterday i was so busy i didn't get a chance to think about, not much more to say on that

Today however is another matter! It started bad i kept putting off breakfast because i thought my shakes were arriving today,and when they weren't here by 9.30 i gave up waiting and had scrambled egg with salmon...completly lush! Lunch was a smoothie and crudites and humus, and dinner tonight was chicken, basmati rice and tomatoes.my biggest hangup today was chocolate it was all i thought about all day and i think its because i had my breakfast so late that my body was getting the urge to snack (on choccies). But i am in bed now so i have resisted the temptation and very proud of myself. Us girls (me and my daughter) went for a 4 mile walk today and she loved it, she is definately the outdoorsy type! Well it is time for me to sign out for the day just remember to eat clean whole foods and not rubbish!

Second day of detox

Loving the Food - 27/05/2014

So i honestly love the food on the juice plus program, i am soooo aware of what i am putting into my body now and what i have been putting into my body in the past, the change i am seeing only on day two of this detox. I have been taking my capsules this week aswell i haven't forgotten about them  and then in 12 days time i will be starting on the shakes! For my breakfast this morning i had home made muesli  which was lovely then at around 10:30 i had some fruit salad left over from yesterday! Then this lunch time i have to say i had one of the best lunches ever! Lettuce and Tuna hotboats are my new favourite lunch, i could eat these everyday day no problem!

I am doing bolognaise tonight with turkey mince, the hubby will be having his with pasta, but mine will be with basmati rice and totally looking forward to it.

In the last 48hrs i have had three conferance calls all to do with juice plus the first one was with Emma Sneddon she is totally inspirational, the 2nd last night was with the top mans right hand man and then today with my inspirational team mentor Hayley Phillips. I am so excited about my future, its so bright for me and my family!

Detox starts

All i want is a cup of tea! - 26/05/2014

Hi again i am back and today i have started my juice plus detox. i started the day with a lush fresh fruit salad, for a snack i had an apple and for my lunch i had carrot sticks with hummus. although the food side of it is great i have to say i am really craving a cup of tea. Its 12.30 and by this time of the day i have normally had five or six cups of tea! Yes i am a bit of a caffeine freak haha!

But instead i have had around 5 glasses of filtered water! I always drank plenty of water as it was but my whole diet was in need of a change, and so was my body so doing this detox will get rid of all the toxins in my system. For me , and i think i have said this before, juice plus is a life style change for me not a crash diet, its about getting my body to crave the good stuff and not the bad. My plan is to be down to a size 10 for my sisters hen do at the end of july! I know its possible as long as i put in the time and effort.

I have also decided to put up a video on you tube to tell people my journey to so watch this space i will be putting up a link to it ( or them) soon enough!

Well so far so good, its 17:12 and i haven't given in to my need for a cuppa! I suppose i just have to think of two months ago when i gave up the fags and say to myself all this is , is my body wanting it out of habit, i don't need it!

So all i have to think about is dinner tonight and i think it will be something simple like chicken steamed veg and some tinned tomatoes.

Back To Form

The Wedding and After - 25/05/2014

So the last few days have been a bit hectic, i had a family wedding to go to in Tipperary.

So on Friday myself and, my little ray of sunshine, Aine caught the train from Banteer down to Mallow so i could get down to the bank (rent day). Once that was done we went and had luch at the Hibernian  Hotel where i had a lovely fresh vegetable soup and Aine helped herself to my roll, which i wouldn't have eaten anyway. After that we just wondered around as it is always nice to be out in the fresh air, and while i am walking at least i am excercising ( remember to keep moving is so important for your health). Dean then picked us up at around 4.30 and we drove up to Roscrea.

Once at the hotel all i wanted to do was go to bed but we had a wedding to get to! So i rang my young cousin who had kindly offered to babysit to organise a time and then i got ready. 

So babysitter in place and off to the reception we went, we had a lovely evening catching up with family and having a great time. Its just a shame we couldn't stay for the next day of partying.

So Saturday was uneventful, we had the drive back to Cork and i popped into tesco to get ready for monday and my detox, picking up my veggies and salad for the week ahead. Once i got home i then caught up with my montor and then it was off to the land of nod. 

So i have woken today with determination, my detox officailly starts tomorrow but over the last week i have been getting myself ready for it, so it isn't such a huge shock to the system, i am now on my second day of NO DAIRY and honestly its not bothering me epecailly as i have fallen inlove with almond milk i don't think i will ever go back to cows milk! I think the only thing that will really bother me is cheese but we will see.

Honestly i am really glad i am starting the detox tomorrow as it will get rid of all the crap i ate and drank friday night , i am actually feeling quite guilty about it now but the wonderful juice plus detox will sort all of that. Day 3 - What its all about

Hi all i am back for day three of my blog and thought i would tell you a little about the juice plus+ brand. The most common questions i have been asked have been "WHAT IS IT?" "HOW DOES IT WORK?" "HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?"

What is it

The product is dried vegetables fruit, i know when i say this people look at me as though i am a bit nuts, but its true. Basically vegetables and fruitare made up mainly from water and when you take this away all you are left with is the dried goodness and thats how NSA the company that own juice plus manage to get all those tiny ingrediants into such a small capsule.

How Does It Work?

So with juice plus you get a huge amount of daily nutrition, it restructures cells, cleanses and gives your body a detox, and, this is a huge plus, because you are consuming such a high amount of fruit and veg on a daily basis ( either in the capsules, shakes or chewables) you actually start craving fruit and veg. The same way that we crave crisps and chocolate. Now if you are like my other half and won't even go near a lettuce leaf you will find very quickly that this will change. So in my mind Juice Plus+ can only be a good thing.

Day Two - Belly busting

The `BIG`Reveal 21/05/204

So today is the day you all see what weight I have to lose although most of it is toning rather than losing fat(although that has to go to). So along with my juice plus I will be doing 25 to 30 minutes of exercise a day either with `slim in 6` or my step machine.

This morning I took two of the most embarrassing photos that will ever be taken of me, and having these on the world wide inter web will push me to my goal! So here they are

The Beginning

The first day of the rest of my life

The title is what it says, its a new start for me, and i am so excited. Last night i made the decision to start with a company called juice plus+. I know many of you have already heard about it and even may be benefiting from it. For those of you who haven't heard of it and you are thinking SCAM!!!! If you are thinking its a  pyramid scheme, you would be wrong! For one pyramid schemes are illegal and two check out how many of your friends on social media sites are involved you will be surprised.

I can't believe i am actually doing this i have been dependant on my hubby for so long it feels like a new lease of life. and the thought i will be able to do what i want with what i earn after rent and bills are paid for feels amazing. This is some thing i will be working my socks off for because i will not have my little girl growing up with nothing

Not only am i now a distributor for Juice Plus+ but i take it to, i have only just started so this is going to show my journey from the start, my lifestyle change, which should show me going from a curvy size 12(uk) to a svelt size 10(uk) (fingers crossed). I will be uploading my first belly busting picture tomorrow haha.
